Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals

While the rest of the year I’m talking about payments and subscriptions and commerce (oh my!) today I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has supported me this year.

2025 was a year of motion for me. New ideas. New risks. New directions. A lot of learning, a fair amount of uncertainty, and more than a few moments where I wondered if I was doing any of it “right.” If there’s one thing this year reinforced, it’s that progress rarely feels clean while you’re inside of it.

Most of the growth I’m proud of showed up this year as mountains I never expected to try to summit. But out of those experiences came confidence, better questions, and a deep trust in my own curiosity. And honestly? That feels like a good way to end the year.

If you’ve followed my work this year, thank you. Whether you’ve celebrated me in comments, challenged my assumptions in chats, or sent thoughtful DMs that made me think harder: thank you even more. If you’re just here to scroll between family obligations and leftover pie, I see you ;)

Tomorrow we’ll all go back to building things. Optimizing systems. Chasing clarity. Asking better questions about where technology, money, and people are headed next.

But today, it’s enough to pause and appreciate how far we’ve already come.

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals. 🎄

See you on the other side of the holiday.
